Meet Smart Megwai: WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF SUCCESS?

WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF SUCCESS?
This Question has been d 'course' over which many seek to 'survive'.
Most people have a vague picture of what it means to be a successful person. Such imaginations include:
1. The wealth of Aliko Dangote,
2. A seat at Aso Rock,
3. An employment at Chevron,
4. A retirement consisting of a mansion with large parking space, exclusive 'rides' and a large bank account streaming with billions of dollars,
5. Be engaged to Ayodeji 'Wiskid' Balogun,
6. The intelligence of Albert Einstein, etc.
But nothing can be further from the truth; and only two things are required for success in any field of life:
1. The right attitude towards success, and
2. The right principles for getting there.
The True meaning of SUCCESS in any endeavour or field of life hangs on three ideas. Success in business, career, ministry, relationships, marriage, etc., finds its definition on the following key concepts:
1. A KNOWLEDGE of PURPOSE in that which your hands has found to do. Every work or endeavour has a purpose attached to them. Find 'purpose' in that business, relationship, job or whatever it is. Begin to place your plans and activities in line with the KNOWLEDGE your received as regards what you seek to succeed in.
2. THE GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR POTENTIAL as regards the 'entity' you wish to succeed in.
After you discover the 'reason' behind what you seek to succeed in, the growth and development of your potential(or gifting) is essential to your success. Get the experience of successors(or mentors) in that area. This can come through interpersonal relationships with them, relevant books and seminars, or other educative resources.
3. SOWING SEEDS that benefit others. As you grow & develop, success is inevitable. The next process is to start sowing seeds through offering up your services which would help others. This can be through acting as mentors to others, engaging in voluntary projects to help people, financial helps, etc.
Do not forget that people will never care how much you know until they know how much you care.
Leadership Expert and Author John C. Maxwell equipped, ''Giving is the highest form of living. Nothing improves a person's outlook like unselfish service to someone with a greater need than your own.''
We only make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. And your success is only 'complete' when as a successor you start to give-back that which you have received.
